The chancellor’s Award is now available for all International Undergraduate students in all fields to have the opportunity to pursue their studies at the Algoma University, Canada.

Scholarship Benefits:

Algoma University is providing a $5,000 honorarium to financially aid and attend to all candidates that are nationals from any country who may be applying for this program.

Eligibility Requirements:

In order to be considered, candidates are required to be full-time and complete all necessary courses of study requirements in the academic year prior to beginning studies in this particular degree program, and to have a minimal A+ grade point average earned on the applicant’s prior academic file.

Application Process:

The candidate should successfully complete an application for entrance to whatever specific programs are being provided through the university. Once the student has successfully completed the application, they can register directly through the Algoma University application portal or via the OUAC 105 portal: “https://www.ouac.on.ca/ouac-105/”.

Supporting Documents:

It is necessary to provide all copies of academic records, as well as high school records, high school diplomas, post-secondary school records and degrees/certificates, if applicable. If applicants have been out of school for more than two years, they must provide Gap Letter/Gap Explanation documents detailing their recent work history.

Admissions Requirements:

Candidates are required to successfully complete and submit 24 credits for two successive terms of study in the fall/winter semester. They must retain an 80% average in every preceding fall/winter term without any failures.

Condition of Language:

In order to complete the English language requirement, candidates are required to achieve the following: Cambridge Assessment of English – 185 total, Duolingo Test of English (DTE) – 125, IELTS – 7.0 total, no band below 6, Pearson Test of English (Academic) – 65, TOEFL – 560 (85 on the Internet).
