The ETSU university in the USA proposes a bachelor’s and master’s merit scholarships for international students to study starting 2021.
This offer is available each year for newly admitted students and the finishing date to apply is 15th October 2020.

International scholars from around the world who are interested to study in the US are offered an academic merit scholarship at the East Tennessee University for both graduate and freshmen levels…
The award comprises 50% of the total tuition fee in and out of the state tuition No extra costs are covered by the scholarship.
Scholarship availability term:
- 8 semesters under the Bachelors level.
- 5 semesters for master’s degree awardees, proportional to the program’s length ( can be extended).
- 8 semesters in the case for Ph.D. degree levels, also proportional to the duration of the program.
- The award can be used for summer sessions.
Degrees under the scholarship:
- Undergraduate, Masters, PhD.
Qualification selection:
- Ability to be a full-time student.
- A GPA no less than 2.75 for undergraduate programs, and maintain a 3.0 GPA for graduate level, to preserve the scholarship.
- Students are benefiting from 50% tuition and maintenance only. Consequently, they will have to pay for the remaining costs for the program such as housing facilities, course materials, health insurance, common fees…etc.
- To continue benefiting from the scholarship transitioning from bachelor’s to master’s program, applicants need to reapply for the scholarship and meet the selection criteria.
Eligibility musts:
To be admitted to ETSU as a regular, degree-seeking student. Scholarship candidates are required to:
- Apply for admissions to ETSU before their scholarship applications being reviewed.
- Own or commit to having associate F-1 or J-1 student visa.
- Have an impressive educational academic history.
- Fill out the scholarship form.
- applicants are advised to apply for the scholarship as soon as they are admitted to the university.

Application instructions:
Admitted students need to apply for the scholarship immediately after they are admitted to ETSU.
Qualifying students who applied for the scholarship will receive a notice for the award on the admissions letter. To accept the scholarship, you must fill out and send a scholarship acceptance within three weeks after receiving the letter. The link to submit the acceptance form will be mentioned in the admissions letter.
