Job description: Nurses Etc. Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced RN Emergency Department LEVEL 1 to join our dedicated Travel team at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to exceptional patient care in a supportive and professional environment.

On-Call/Callback
SCHEDULES Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs
13 Weeks
Scrub color: Navy BlueEducation/Skills
- Graduate of an accredited school required
Qualifications:
- RN License NY ONLY
- Experience: Minimum 2-years experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry REQUIRED
- Current BLS and ACLS from AHA
Duties:
- The Observation unit cares for adult patients needing additional observation to determine if the patient’s condition is serious enough for admission to the hospital or if the patient can be treated and released home safely.
- The Observation unit is a very fast paced environment that turns over 20 to 27 patients per day with an average length of stay of 27 hours.
- The unit has 24/7 provider coverage.
- Care for a diverse adult population of both emergency observation and admitted boarding patients..
Patients will range from short stay to full admissions.Performs other duties as assigned.
